How to
Register

A simple step by step guide for parents. It takes about ten minutes the first time, and is much quicker for every event after that.

Entry Fee: £10 per division

Everything is done through Smoothcomp, the platform we use to build the brackets. You only need to do this once per child. After that, registering for any future event takes a minute.

Part 1

Create Your Account

Skip this part if you already have a Smoothcomp account from a previous event. Just log in and jump to Part 2.

Go to Smoothcomp

Visit smoothcomp.com and tap "Create account" at the top of the page.

Enter Your Details

Add a name, email and password. The First Name and Last Name should be your child's name (the athlete competing).

More than one child?Put the parent's name here instead, then add each child as a separate profile. Here's how.

Create the Account

Tap the green Create Account button and accept the Terms of Service.

Confirm Your Email

Check your inbox for an email from Smoothcomp and tap "Confirm" to verify your account. That's the account done.

Part 2

Register for the Event

Now log in and sign your child up for the interclub.

Open the Event Page

Tap the blue Register to Event button at the top.

Choose the Athlete

Select your child's profile. If you only have one child registered, this will be the only option.

Add Their Details

Fill in Nationality, Date of Birth, Gender and Phone.

TipSet the flag on the phone field to the UK. For nationality, start typing "United Kingdom" and let it autocomplete.

Add Belt & Skill

For Type choose Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and select your child's current belt colour. If they wear a two-colour belt, choose the lower colour (e.g. a grey/white belt = White). Tap Add.

Save & Add Your Club

Tap the green Save and Continue button. On the next page, for Academy / Club type Stance Jiu Jitsu and select it from the list.

Can't find us?No problem, just let your coach know and we'll sort it.

Pick a Division

In the Entries section, tap the green Add button next to the right division. Then choose Age, Weight Group (in kg) and Skill from the menus and tap Register.

Divisions marked N/A are simply the wrong age or gender for your child, based on the details you entered earlier.

Optional: A Second Division

Want your child to do an extra division? Tap Add again next to the same age group and pick one weight group up or one belt higher, then Register.

Pay to Finish

On a phone, your Pending Registrations appear at the bottom of the screen (on a computer they're top right). Tap "Continue to Payment" and pay by card.

That's it — you're in!

Your child is registered for the Stance Interclub. We'll be in touch with the schedule and weigh-in details closer to the day.
