Stance Jiu Jitsu Academy offers classes six days a week to fit your schedule.

Our timetable includes dedicated sessions for
adults, kids, women-only training, and specific programs for beginners through to advanced competitors.

Class Guide

Introduction to BJJ (Mon/Wed/Thursday 18:45 and Friday 19:00): Perfect for complete beginners with 0-3 months experience. Learn fundamental positions, movements, and escapes in a structured, supportive environment.

Fundamentals Gi (Multiple sessions): Core technique classes suitable for white and blue belts. Develop your base game with essential sweeps, submissions, and guard passes.

No-Gi Grappling (Tue/Thu 19:45): Train without the traditional kimono. Focuses on wrestling-based techniques and submission grappling applicable to MMA and modern competition.

Kids BJJ: Age-appropriate training for children aged 4-15. Sessions focus on coordination, discipline, and age-suitable self-defence skills.

Women Only (Tue/Thu 18:45): A dedicated training environment for women at all experience levels. Build confidence, learn self-defence, and connect with other female practitioners.

Getting Here

We're located at 107A Woolwich High Street, SE18 6EA, just 8 minutes walk from Woolwich Elizabeth Line station.

Parking is available at Macbean Street Car Park (4 minutes walk) at £1 per hour.

The academy serves students from across South East London including Woolwich, Greenwich, Plumstead, Charlton, and the Royal Arsenal area.
